Cheers Dan, not a bad idea, but to be honest I can't be arsed lol - AmD is just too far away for me to be going there on a regular basis, like I say the car is running well on the road, just not the rollers. I've been in Orlando for the last week, so not been driving. I still haven't even got the boost gauge hooked up! Anyway, thanks for the idea - might be good to go stg2 and get SPS once I've got some more pennies?

Minor update: Got bored yesterday after waking up at 5:30 to watch the Japanese GP (Yes, I am mental). Anyway, seemed like a good time to fart about with a tin of red caliper paint I forgot I had. The red rim tape made me want to tie a few other things in.

First, I did my chavtastic chrome Max Power valve caps in red (sorry, don't have any pics of these). Next, I set to work on my carbon magic tree (thanks to DK for hookin this one up).

When I was done, I went on Ebay and bought a C2 arial (some er stole mine ), then as always happens on Ebay I made an impulse buy on a sticker. Cant wait for them to get here. Anyway, more to come soon, hopefully I'm doing the rear lights next Saturday.

haha yeah, I've only had her since February. I will be tinting/smoking the silver part of the rear lights. I'm basically getting rid of everything silver/chrome. This will eventually include painting the exhaust tip black and then the charge pipe and manifold. It's not changed that much

My new aerial got here today:

Well I finally got around to plumbing that boost gauge back in today. I even put it into the FPR instead of the DV, where it used to be. The thing is, it seems to be giving me some strange figures... When I nail it, it peaks at about 22psi and depending which gear I'm in it holds at between 18 and 20psi.
If you ask me, that is way too high and I'm concerned about whether AmD have just raised the boost to try and get me happy with the map or to try and get me those illusive figures that everyone else gets. It would explain why they disconnected the gauge (although I'm sure they wouldn't do such a thing).
What do you people think? Does anyone out there have an AmD stg1 map on their LCR and know what they're boosting at? I also think I need to coroborate these boost figures with VAGcom, can anyone help?

Lol no probs ur like a granny all ways worried haha bet you still aint used that high temp paint . Mine spikes about 23psi holds about 21ish

No, still aint used that paint. I want to take the charge pipe, throttle body and mani off the car to do it - knowing me I'll get that sh-tuff all over the bleedin car otherwise... or am I just being paranoid again...

Hahaha about your mum but I don't think I have met her . The charge pipe comes of easy but the mani is a pig and you need to get new injector seal etc . And if you cover it up its really easy to do on the car . If you need a hand give me a shout and will help

Yeah you can get it from a Citroen dealer, they're off the C2, I got mine off ebay for less than a fiver delivered. The one I had before was fine until some less little stole it

Your guage might be reading 1-2 PSI out aswell mate, they are not 100% accurate
