LCR uprated clutch

Which one did you end up going for in the end?
I have heard that the Audi TT 225 clutch or Golf R32 clutch is a good upgrade for the LCR and slightly more durable?
I might need to upgrade mine soon as I think it's slipping but i'd like to upgrade, not to race spec, just something that's the same as OEM (as in how the car feels to drive) but more robust to take the extra torque?
Any advice?
*Also, will the flywheel need to be replaced?

I upgraded my clutch to a Sachs organic clutch and a jabbasport single mass flywheel.I was recommened this by a mate who had a 300bhp mk4 golf and he swore by it.Jabbasport advised me that it was the best clutch for 350bhp.Small bit of chatter off the single mass flywheel though.I hope this will be sum help to you
Guys remember that clutches are rated by torque not BHP.
So anyone who's advising you the clutch is good for 350BHP I would worry about the advise

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to avoid the SMF because of it's cost and the chatter I will get. My car has done 30k so the DMF should be fine as I haven't abused the car at all.
Where did you get the Organic Clutch, Jabbasport too? I take the clutch kit (without flywheel) included just the cover and disc? The bearing needs to be bought separately and I assume the OEM one is good enough?
This kit direct from SACHS comes in just over £600 without flywheel...

spoke to bill at badger about these.. he has had good results off a TT quattro OEM clutch.. the car is hybrid k04 its been on over a year without any slip
Also i'll be honest, I know quite little about transmission. I have searched through pages of info today but I can't make head nor tail of alot of it.
When replacing a clutch, take just an OEM for OEM replacement for example, what parts actually need replacing? Do you need to replace the cover, disc & bearing in all instances? I am not sure what parts actually wear, is it just the disc?

I was just going on the advice I was given by jabbasport.I'm pretty new to modding LCR's so I valued their advice seeing as they have done enough work on LCR's.
while the box is out its recommended you change clutch plate preassure plate bearing and maybe flywheel if its duel mass like the LCR's are. you wouldnt want to change the clutch and leave the bearing only ofr it to fail.
Thanks Lodgey. The DMF should be ok, it only has 30k on it and they haven't been hard miles so I will do all of the rest.
has your clutch being slipping as this would cause scoring on the flywheel.. seen it many times at my old works (seen some right states infact where the clutch is literally powder lol )
Ya I got the clutch from jabbasport aswell,but I bought it as a whole kit including the flywheel.they supplied the the bearing aswell,oem from SEAT.I can't remember exactly how much I paid for it though.check their website or else sachs own site would be your best bet.
Well I don't really know to be honest. Yesterday it had a bit of a bad day and I slipped the hell out of it by accident on a steep hill. The burny clutch smell was really strong and I could still smell it hours later even when I started driving it normally. It doesn't slip when driving that I can tell and I can get into all the gears with no issues but I can't help feeling that I might have damaged it or if it's just started to go.
I felt very sorry for the car afterwards but like I say, no drivability issues that I can tell. I haven't used the car today, it's having a rest so i'm unsure if the burning smell would return now it's all cooled down.
