HELP! Who wants to refurb MY Brembos!

Peeps....serious help needed for someone to refurb my Calipers on my LCR!! (Before the new disks go on)

Is anyone near to Leicester who has taken the giant leap into Brembo caliper restoration on their vehicles and do a good job on mine!!
I dont have any tools like jack but i could travel anyway.

Best price paid.. and the beers come in free anyway!

Some guides on here to do it yourself if you got the time. It looks fairly easy.

Yep, seen the guides, however i just cant find the time or even to buy decent equipment!!

mate its so easy to do pop halfords get some clear laqure some fine wet and dry sand paper wash them with soapy water to get the crud off ub down to get the old laqure off and spray the clear on 4-5 coats and jobs a gooden lol .. oh cover ur disks with rag/paper etc ..i would do it for ya but im in dartford so quite a drive lol

Quick question,is the Brembo logo on the fronts etched into the caliper? So once you've applied the new laquer do you have to paint on the logo in a different colour paint or is it just a sticker?

The logo is a sticker on the PAINT, so basically you need to take care when getting the flaky lacquer off from around it. It's a tough one though as it wasn't phased by me scraping with the screwdriver (it was gentle though) and was not marred by the wet & dry use either. Once the lacquer is re-done over the top the Brembo logo/sticker looks as good as new really.

Ideally you want the front of the car on axle stands, on level ground. I had one misplaced axle stand when I did the last one so used one stand and kept the other up using a trolley jack (I would only use the scissor jack as a last resort as it needs to be raised for a few hours)

If and when I visit, my car will be in Warwick and I'll be staying in/around Kibworth or Houghton on the Hill - no idea yet but will let you know.
