I've been after a dipstick for a while, I've posted on various threads but no joy.

I was looking for a dipstick aswell and couldn't find one anywhere!

Found the Neuspeed one if you've not already seen it from Neuspeed or AWESOME.

Defected!
thanks, i'll send the guy a PM today, he is on vagdrivers.net

Nice one, that'd be great.

Thanks for the links. I've seen the Neuspeed ones before and although they look pretty cool £46 + P&P for a cover is a little steep.

Agreed - they're well overpriced, especially considering it only appears to be a cover that goes over the standard plastic handle!
Christmas present? ;)

Dito, they don't look the best IMO for the price anyway, the Guy i bought mine off of said he got it at one of the Edition38 show trade stands, we share our engine with VW and Audi so there has to be more options that overpriced awesome and the like.

on another note i when crazy on jcapsonline.com and bought a load of replacement caps, can't wait for delivery.

Quick update for you all.

I bought some new caps from jcapsonline, coolant, washer bottle and steering fluid caps, they are well machined and fit perfectly, a bit on the pricey side IMO though, but they look nice overall.

Also i was got my BBS CH refurbished and painted VW daytona grey, the black was way to hard to keep, the slightest bit of brake dust and they looked crappy. While i was at the wheels, i fitted 3mm spacers on the front and 4mm on the back.
The pictures don't really show the colour that well, they look much nicer in the flesh.

comments/abuse welcome as always

Very nice indeed, as you know I'm a fan of the JCaps and they're still pretty rare on here. Wheels look cool too, the tyres seem to have a bit of a Euro/stretched look about them.

I know, sure your recommended them to me, i am suprised more members don't use them!

yeah i wasn't going for the euro/stretch look like some dubbers but they turned out well, just need new BBS caps now to finish them off and then on to my carbon fibre hunt.

Cheers Mate and yep she's on coilovers, i had her slammed to the ground when i was running OEM 18" LCR alloys, i think i was down 35mm+, i have raised it up since i put the 19" on, so i am not sure how low she is now, i must actually check this.
