Did think of painting it on but thought it would look abit naff, mate and work told me to get it to the bodyshop get them to do it

The chrome kit rubbing it down painting that seems a good way but its always the way when you have a picture in your head of how you want it to look.

Hi there, not sure if your looking for opinions.......but here is mine, i think if you are going to do it you would have to have other things colour coded aswell, i think it would look a bit odd with just the front bits.

I did a smiliar thing on my previous car, a MK4 Polo gti but it was so easy. A guy on ebay was selling the red grill trim for like £2.99 and i jus superglued it on underneath the grill. Im not too sure what the dimensions of the grill are on the leons but im sure u could get away with something like that. The guy on ebay had loads of em and was selling Sh*t loads but im gona try digging up the listing and il let u know once i have. Quick and cheap and looked rather nice. Let me hav a quick search dude.

Unfortunately its not letting me post links as i havent posted more than 15 times but go onto ebay and type in 'polo gti red grill trim' and you'll see it come up for £3.99. Ask the guy for the dimension of the trim and compare that to the dimensions of the grill on the cupra and im sure itl b ok, cheap, quick and extremely affective. Hope that helps dude.

I think you will find Oldman was talking to Andy3024 not you, and he has a point.
It might help if you stopped and thought before you launched into some mad rant. [B)]

No worries dude, let me know if its ok and how it fits. Did you go for polo trim then in the end or did you find something more specific geared towards the leons?

Yeh sweet dude no worries. Really easy to fit too, well it was on the polo. Literally some super glue and a stanley knife, pop it in underneath the grill and cut off the excess. You'll find its quite a long piece and you should have enough for both grills on the leon. Be sure not to get any super glue on the paintwork. Yeh definitely show us some pics once your done and i might have to it too if it looks mint.
