Has anybody had one of these fitted to a FR diesel? Thinking more so of the Aero OEM for warranty reasons to be honest and not after either a sporty sound or any bhp gains. Would the dual exit be a problem to fit on the diesel Fr?

Appreciate I would need to trim the plastic bumper insert to fit the other pipe.

Found the part on the Accessories site, it mentions it is recommended for the Aero Kit only. Why would this be? The pipes would surely sit behind the black plastic section on the FR ?

Part Number: 1P1072004
Description: Twin Exhaust
Model Application: New Leon 2006 >
# Detail: Sporty twin exhaust - looks good on the street.
# Recommended For use with New Leon body kit only
# Suitable for Leon Cupra and FR and Altea FR
Price (RRP): £ 260.00

In front of a PC....
If memory serves me right the exhaust is from the cat back i.e. Center section, back box and then the dual outlet (not sure where the DPF lives in relation to things though)
Here is a few pics of what the OEM system looked like when I removed it from my car (if you asked 6 month earlier I would have kept if for you...doh!)

No worries mate! Your new one or two looks the business. Just wonder now if it would fit okay to my FR

I think it should be ok as it just joins onto the end of the downpipe but like I said I don't know where the DPF is in relation to everything. As for the bumper that can be cut to match (Igor has a dual exhaust outlet on his car and that looks ok)

Also wondering if the pipe would look a bit small given the size of the hole that the twin pipes currently sit in? If I made a hole on the other side of the bumper to match the current hole would they look a bit puny? Can anyone give me an idea of the diameter of each pipe on the Aero Kit dual exhaust?

Shame you can't buy non-cut black inserts for the FR / Cupra then I could get them to fit snug.

Any ideas?

Milltek dual output is 100mm each pipe and sits in the holes well but any smaller pipes I'm not sure. As you say the the original cutout is big and you need to match it or it would look daft. Its up to you. Kev

Will have to have a measure up later. Don't see a way round it other than getting an Aero Kit bumper which I don't like.

Shame I can't get a non-cut FR bumper. Must be a way to do it without gaping holes either side.

EDIT : After looking at my current FR bumper the holes for the exhaust seem quite low down on the bumper, almost underneath so I think the exhaust could sit nice and tight to the top of the bumper exhaust hole but with a larger gap below. I don't see this as a big problem as being black and low down the existing hole doesn't look to bad. Just got to get the other side cut in the same way though!

Give me the details then mate, how hard to cut another hole? Did it fit easy enough? Any sound improvements?

Looks superb by the way!

But with gloss black wheels coming I thought it would be darker than a Goth's ring piece
