Powerflex bushes question (problem)

Hi all
Just want to get your opinion on these, i think the passenger side one may be fitted wrong  Help needed :) lol

Below is a pic of the drivers side one, looks fitted correctly

And here are two of the passenger side, kenny at AmD said somewhile back about either one of these bushes being fitted incorrectly, but cant remember which one he said.

This one below looks like it has a bit of play in it as there is a small area round it which is clean, so this suggests its moving slightly and rubbed the area clean, correct?

As you can see on the top photo, drivers side, the smaller size part of the bush goes on the side on the metal lip if you get me, and on the passenger side, the bigger side of the bush is on the lip side, surely on the passenger side the smaller part of the bush should be the same as the drivers side, goes on the lip??

Any help much appreciated :)

The wish bones look wrong, as one side of the wb is flush and the other side has a raised lip, the top photo(Drivers side) shows the lip at the top and the bottom photo (passengers) shows the flush part at the top, probably find its supposed to be like that but looks odd.

correct Phil :D

The wishbones are not 'handed' and look very odd on one side. This is normal however lol.

Brad, I got my mechanic to fit both bushes with the large face on the top and the chamfered face on the bottom, the car seems to handle normally. Looking at DPJ's he has the chamfer side up.

To me, after looking at the pictures of DPJ's powerflex bushes, it looks that my passenger side is fitted round the wrong way, just would like someone like DPJ to confirm so i can get the garage to fit it round the other way :) cheers for the link mylo ;)

Hmmm - if you think about it, the centre metal bush doesn't move, but the poly part of the bush flexes around it. The underside of the bush assembly has more clearance from the subframe, whereas the upper face is much closer. I think the bush is chamfered on the top face to allow clearance here. If the bush was in chamfer down, the thicker top face would jam against the subframe.

I am just really curious, im not saying your wrong dave, its just a few months ago, when kenny was looking at something under my car, he said, wishbone bush fitted wrong way, i cant remember which one, would there be any harm in getting the garage to put it around the other way??

Just one last question people :) would this incorrectly fitted bush cause any play in the joint or be slightly loose??
