well the painting commenced yesterday, also received my side skirts
started on my font spltter and front panel as it was showered with stone chips:

also colour coded my door mirrors

all finished with a trial fit of the side skirts:

the colour match doesnt look great in the pictures, its not that bad , im pleased with it

will start on the side skirts today and will be "hammeriting" my steelies for when they're on the car when the other wheels are getting painted

Ive figured the colour for my Oz's when they get re-furbed...... Seat Platinum Grey with the red decals.

I'm going to go for a colour coded lip and inner, then diamond black spokes
if I don't like the colour code, then I'll make it fluorescent

that will look mean on your car! I had thought of that colour with mine but just wouldn't suit the car colour or the wheel design

I got that colour idea from a black leon on here. It had a set of 18 inch Super T's and had been refurbed in Platinum grey with the red stickers and it looked great!

yh ive seen that colour with the black leons a lot, looks really good, will look amazing on white, are your calipers painted? if not do them red to go with the stickers

thought I'd give you good people an update

well I painted my steelies as practise for my main wheels and stuck em on:

fitted:

if only they were 15's, banded and the car was on coilies

time to start on my alloys
the curb marks are really bad thanks to the previous owner
look all sweet innocent and clean from afar:

and all the wheels have scrapes like this

ive started sanding down, spent 3 hours yesterday and managed to do about 3/4 of one wheel ......its so friggin hard to get in all the little grooves lol

Try an electric drill with a flap wheel - soon cuts down sanding time

Mirrors and Lights

Car looks good mate. As Alpine already said the front splitter makes a big difference.

The repair you did on the rear wing is a really well done job, the paint looks as great match aswell.

I like the colour-coded interior, i thought of doing this but I wasnt too sure, may do it. If you had said I had a set of those rear lights you could of had, they are sitting doing nothing. Same with the dtm mirrors I have.

Can I ask, where did you get the seat sport number plate surrounds??
