I bought this car from Empi5 in Jun '09. These are a couple of the pictures Phil sent me when he had the car for sale.

A few months down the line, it's starting to feel like my car, having sorted a few things (in no particular order):
Front Tints removed (not worth risking with Sussex police)
My Personal Plate assigned
Cambelt and Water Pump sorted
Sony MD Head Unit and CD Changer fitted
Ride Height Raised 15mm (so I can get in and out of my driveway)
Suspension Geometry adjusted
Leon Cup OZ Racing 18x8J Wheels refurbed in SEAT Platinum, with Red Decals
So now it looks like this:

That looks really nice mate, love the stance.

How do you find the ride on the coilovers?

Ben

Cheers, although I've changed it a bit now

The ride is fairly harsh, but I like it. Mind you, my previous car was an Evo VIII so I'm quite used to a hard ride :D

Very nice mate, I'm sure Phil/Lee will be along soon with a photo of them together, its on here somewhere. It was probably one of the photos that made me want a black leon.

I've been spending some time changing a few things under the bonnet:
Black Rocker Cover has replaced the polished one.
SEAT Sport Inlet Manifold from a Leon Cup car, again replacing the polished item.
Black Forge Split-R in place of the plain alloy one, which will now be going on my Ibiza.
Alloy Washer Bottle Cover removed.
Polished Strut Caps removed.
So now the engine bay looks like this:

I also managed to tidy-up the HID installation by modifying the N/S headlight unit rear cover so I could re-fit it, and cable-tied the HID box to the back of it. I will do the same on the O/S light when I have sourced a rear cover for it. While I was messing about down there, I spotted this:

Evidently one of the local squirrel population thought this would be a good place to keep his stash. Presumably, he got sucked-up the intake on the RHS of the photo next time I started it up, so I don't need to worry about him any more!

The SEAT Sport one looks as if it has had some work done inside to smooth the flow, it has had holes drilled for a pressure sensor (still fitted while I decide how to blank it off), and obviously it has SEAT Sport etched on the top.

TBH, the polished one was not really to my tastes, and the SEAT Sport one came up for sale, so I bought it more for its aesthetic rather than its performance benefit.
