Carpets are soaked and removing front seat

The carpets are soaked on the wife's Leon as we have a leak somewhere causing the water to pool in the rear footwell. I'm going to remove some trim panels to figure out where the water is coming in however I need to remove the front passenger seat so that I can get the sound deadening out and dry it out. Is there anything I need to be aware of when removing the front seat - seatbelt tensioers etc or is it simply an unbolt the seat job? Cheers for the help,

Do a search for leaking door seals it is usually the window regulator there are a few guides on how to fix. The seat I am not sure but think its just an unbolt job

To remove the front seat you need to...

Remove the 2 nuts at the front of seat.

Remove the 2 plastic covers off the runners behind seat.

Slide it back out of runners.

Tilt it back and unclip air bag plug

Make sure you have battery disconnected or you will bring the airbag light on the dash on

As you sound like someone with experience in the seats don't suppose you know how to refit the huge return springs that have popped off both front seats do you?!

Don't fancy having to take the seats out to do it but it looks a nightmare to get at :headhurt:
