Just wondering what power people are running on there hybrid turbos and what faults if any are you getting as spoke to a tuner and they said hybrid turbos don't last that long as high egt cause failure within the turbo an get quite a few problems. Could people tell me what miles they have put on there hybrid turbos and what sort of driving do you do as 75% of mine is on the motorway. Thanks for any input. And if running K03 turbo please answer as well as more information will help. Thankyou

Paul if you do this right then theres no reason why this should fail.
There are alot of failures due to people doing it on the cheap.
If you upgrade the turbo, upgrade the exhaust manifold and all supporting mods with being set up by a GOOD mapper this should last forever. There are a few guys on here with KO4 Hybrids that hav ehad these for ages with zero problems

There's more than a few unlucky ones who had done it anything like cheap and suffered failures.... namely from excessive boost and subsequent high egt's no doubt.

some tuners who resell hybrids branded as their own seem to crank up the boost higher than the hybrid manufacturer recommend, and claim they make more power etc... well they might for a while..
