Will this de-cat pipe fit?

Hi,

I have provisionally bought a de-cat pipe for my cupra and im now wondering if it will fit .

Its from a Leon mk1 cupra and is a 2.5"bore but has a sleeve to reduce it to a 2.25". I have a competltey standard exhaust system on my ibiza. Will this be a straight swap for the standatd cat?

if any thing mate get it and see if it knocks if it does take it to custom exhausts and tell them to mod it peanuts done this on my first exhaust ad it adjusted and was fine ever since

what there saying mate is it might knock on bottom cross member at bottom or sumin i had mine modded try it first it might be a snug fit

Because its made for another car. Bulkhead is very close to the dp so anything thats not quite right will hit things.

Buy cheap buy twice imo. You'll spend enough money on buying it then gettin it modified by a exhaust company to be able to afford a Blueflame decat thats made for our car.

Plus, i hope your map is ok for a decat as i can see your next topic coming already.

thanks for your advice mate, possible feel its a little condesending imo but an improvement on your first post in this topic. , im knew to this paticular scene/forum but im not that new to vag so cut me some slack...


Il look elsewhere for a decat or wait and save for a full system with a sports cat
