Buying new car. Springs?

Not being funny but how do I know what springs I will have on my car? I am picking up an 07 later in the week and remember the 18s looking really nice. That led me to wonder if it had already had some modification made to the original suspension. Is there any obvious way for me to tell?
Thanks.

Kez, do you have any problems with speed humps/ rubbing etc?

Well it's proper low mate an don't forget I got 17s on aswell and it's fine, it only rubs when I go over speed bumps with 2 people in the back which is rare. Ur car got 18s? Should be fine with them also, u gotta get it done ha

Maybe I'll get it lowered. I'll have to look again at what it looks like. Will post pics although to be honest it's a fairly vanilla FR. It's red and got 18's and may not blow anyone away on these forums. Looks pretty cool to me though.
