Abs and traction fault

Right the folks. I need the wire and plug going to the front abs sensor as my plug is ****** so does anyone no where i can get one from? or am i just better of goin to the dealers?

Dealers mate expensive but aint a Copy...

Have u damaged the plug or something...as thats my next thing todo is fix the abs sensor...i renewed it with a ebay one but the lights still one..

So stealers for me next..

i didn't damage it. I bought the car but it had an intermitant fault so after remove electrical tape i found speaker wire had been used to fix the problem. gash repairs hahaha

And whoever had done it had cut/ or the wire had broken of to close to the plug so you cant crimp new connectors on

so i think i might just try phoning VW tommorow

Which plug? The one that does into the sensor?

Just hack the plug off, get two isolated spade connectors and reconnect.

Sod paying stealers for a new plug/wire combo imo!

I did thin about that. But the spade connectors would probaly wiggle loose

So i found VW today and new plugs were £2.50 each and another £1 something for the wiring repair kit in which from what i could gather you needed 4 of

your sensor might be working fine. When you replaced the sensor did you scrape away any build up of rust? as this can make the sensor sit to far away from the ring, doesn't take much to upset the sensor
