One of my family friends gave his opinion saying he thought it was a waste of money at 400 pounds fitted and i'll probs lose power and low end torque.
With modern cars this isn't a problem even with an N/A as the cat is providing enough back pressure. With a turbo it'd be better to have a straight through exhaust with no CAT of the correct diameter for maximum power/torque (go to large & the exhaust gasses won't move fast enough at low rpm to get the full benefit)

On a slight deviation, has anyone had experience with SuperSprint exhausts? I've had 2 full manifold to back box SS exhausts on different cars & both of them has a subtle quiet but sporty sound & gave good power gains.

i got a question will a milltek cat back fit on a 1.9tdi pd100, because i measured my exhaust diameter from the cat and its smaller than on the milltek?

Yes, but you will need a reducer. You might get one from Miltek but if not any exhaust maker will do you one for about £10-20.

when i bought mine, it came with a reducer ;)

if it doesn't come with one, get on the phone to where you ordered it from and get them to send you one!

i had this dilema when considering an exhaust for the M Sport

thought about powerflow and got put off by talking to someone who used to do custom and told me they are not worth it - can't make a profit unless cut corners.

Besides - A well known brand has spent time developing for that car individually.

In the end i opted for Remus. Good brand and meant i didn't have to cut rear valance.

The FR already has nice twin chrome pipes so is getting left alone.

it's a bit unfair to tar every powerflow fitter with the same brush,
yes some are bad but there are some good ones out there too.
I've used the same powerflow fitter on 3 of my cars now and the welding has been fantastic and the fit was perfect if you do go down the custom exhaust be sure to use a recommended fitter

I agree with you there.....i have used the same dealer for the last 3 cars of mine, good customer service etc....there are 2 dealers in my area and i know which one i would rather put my money too!

It was the lifetime gaurantee that sold it for me...(18 Months for the Sports CAT)

tip for you if you ring craig at demon tweeks, he did me a cat back resonated for the cupra bumper fitment i paid 318 delivered from them

and for the decat ive paid 130 + vat again from tweeks

they will do the deals even though when you first ask there prices are over inflated, i told them it was either them i dealt with or awesome so they beat there prices, if they say they cant do it just tell him he did it for lee smith, so there you go guys hopefully save you some money

I completely agree my Panda uses a PowerFlow exhaust & I took it to a different dealer for it's inspection, the guy was cursing the dealer I had it made at because they had totally screwed up the welding & bending of the system, apparently I'm not the first system he felt obliged to rebuild either. The result was I got a new exhaust section made up @ PF's expense with the same silencers & the difference was noticeable, turbo was coming on boost 100rpm earlier & lacked the 0.5s lag in the low-2000 rpm area.

you speak of a panda quite a lot and what you say about about it sounds like you have done a fair bit to it.
would be really good to see photos as i cant seem to picture a panda with the big brakes you speak of etc.

have been thinking about using a powerflow dealer near by myself but there a new dealer so im unsure.
