Pipewerks, Blueflame, Milltek and Jetex all produce systems, Pipewerks do custom systems and Milltek are the most popular and you have the choice of res or non res systems, an exhaust is on my list of things to do but i'm not sure what to go for either .... Blueflame will cost around £800 for a full tbe, milltek is going to be over £1000, not sure on pricing for pipewerks and Jetex will be around the £1000 mark

Go for Milltek with resonator if your like me and want an exhaust to be quiet around town but howl under load. If your after a racey sound just leave out the middle resonator. I would say Blueflame are going to be louder, then Supersprint. You pay you money...........................etc etc

Take a look at build quality first. If you look at a Milltek off the car the quality is appalling. The welds look like they have all been done by the trainee. (Unless they have upped the standards in the last couple of months). Some of the guys on another forum I use (non Seat) did a comparison of aftermarket exhausts and posted pictures of a few systems (inc Milltek) and I really could not believe it. You pays your money at the end of the day, and a lot of people do choose Milltek. I would not be one of them! I've not really looked in to the options available on the Leon, so could not give any opinion on other options.

Thats what I dont get with milly, why is their tbe not a full 2.75" system. Sounds like bean counters won over the engineers on that one.

Looks good, have you got any sound clips?

I did take some sound clips but they were so far away from the actual exhaust sound that I deleted them straight away.

Hopefully I'll be able to get to a meet/RR day in the future as a fair few folks have asked to hear it.
