Auto dipping mirror/ red lighting under mirror

this can be turned off on mirror so peeps who have cupra,s just check mirrors and if theres a button on the mirror itself press and you might find you do actually have it.....when on ,in the dark you,ll get a faint green led light up on bottom edge of mirror.....when this is lit you will find the red glow from the underside of the mirror

the button is to turn the anti dazzle mirror on off, it is part of the convenience pack. the red led's come on (and stay on) when you ingition on, irrespective of lights on.

sounds nerdy to be honest but those that any packs at all and/or the feature would be handy to get a spec sticker copy if poss ?

saw this feature way back in 2003 Vx Vectra but confess it makes quite a subtle but useful gadget

oooh ye if its there please - will be same as one in boot, will be similar to this

it's basically a plan/recipe for the model it's stuck too, i can read and decipher what's factory fitted from it

Is it too rude to ask where/how you decoded this cryptic information?

If so maybe you could tell me what a "1AT" DSG Gearbox decodes out as I could
not find it in EKTA and ELSA?

no worries at all - most one off i check in Elsa/Etka but there is a few online checkers that help on bulk stuff

for example above the 'main' spec is in the large bold (section 3)

transmission info appears missing from standard location but i'll confess i haven't read these on a regular basis for a long time

must admit i thought the DSG also used dual clutch in the description but maybe wrong there

if previous UK spec is anything to go by i would guess that was meant to be Sports suspension

in fact looking back a few years it is indeed 'sports spec'

bear in mind PR codes can be model and year specific

Thanks a lot for info for my 2.0 TFSI FR DSG in Black Magic !!!!!

G63 is the suspension setup of course, I remember now, as I pointed out to the muppet let loose on my car to check the 4 wheel alignment at a tyre place.
I am still not confidant he did it "right".

Getting back on thread I am really intersted in this mirror, if only to find my ashtray in the pitch black of night, submarine night light stylee!!!
