little update. got my comfort indicators in today. wasn't that hard to do. had to make sure all the wires didn't get pinched behind the head unit.

ok just seen a set of really nice wheels on ebay. they are genuine audi ones. i will have to get hub adaptors for them but i'm confused about the offset. its ET54? what does that mean?! what would i need to do to get them to fit my car?!!! can anyone help?!?!?!?!?!

You ideally want to get to a ET35 so 20mm adaptors would be spot on.


The higher the number the further in they sit

You could get bigger adaptors it just depends on the width of the wheels and how far out you want them to sit.

Mine are 8.5 with a 5mm spacer so the ET ends up 33 and they fit nice IMO.

There 7.5 so you could fit bigger adaptors if you wanted.

ok cool! i think FK do 20mm, 25mm, 30mm and 35mm

i'm so very tempted with them. and Salisbury isn't to far for me to go and collect them

You'd prob even get away with the 30's to give you a ET 24 .....that would look smart!

I'd just double check with the others but I can't see a 7.5 x 18 with a ET 24 being any trouble.

Just got back from picking them up! they look great. the center part of the rims will need a refurb before i get them on the car. but they are really cool!

i know!!! i'm so happy with them. i'm taking them to the body shop on thursday to get refurbished. i think i'm gunna go for the same silver i got my rear badge painted. should look good when they are done!! just need tyres and adaptors now. =]

so i've drop the wheels off at the body shop. they are going to re-spray them for me. goinh for the silver i got the rear boot badge. they should great when they are done. just need to polish up the bolts that hold them all together!.
