Anyone done this mod to a mk2 without the convenience pack. Did it plug straight in or did it need a loom making up.

anyone with the convenience pack on a non cupra tell me if they have the red LED's under their auto dipping mirror?
i have the cupra and haven't seen the LED's ... i want them though as both the Audi and Golf had them.
I've got a TFSI Sport with the convenience pack, and yes it does have red LED's under the mirror.
My Altea XL has the dipping mirror and LEDs. Standard colour, I assume it will be the same as the Leon one.

Ummmm what do the LED's "do"
They point down towards the dash/gearlever area, illuminating it with a nice red glow.

just looked up 09 spec and see if i can back list it shows 2 both anti dazzle (colour?)

Is ita facelift you're doing this to or not? I want to fit one to my pre facelift cupra ( I dont have any convenience pack) but dont know how easy it wil be to wire in. I herd somewhere before I'd have to provide power to it and need some other bits??
