He's throw alot of time and money at this, bloody fantastic feat.

My only point is as this guy is so experienced you thought he would have converted it to 4wheel drive and then he can have all the power in ever gear, and it will be far more usable.

Has anyone "grafted" S3 running gear to a MK2 Leon?

May be wrong but logically this would make sense then he can go for EVEN MORE MENTAL BHP, and be a darn sight quicker !:lol:

Trust me, that's a job you would not want! You need to raise the boot floor to accommodate the rear diff, move the exhaust system to fit the propshaft and haldex controller, and then to add insult to injury you then suffer the significant drivetrain losses and weight gain from Haldex. With Haldex it is still majoritively FWD too!

On a dry day, if you lined my car up against a stage 2 Leon, the Leon would be quicker.

Im actually trying to find out what it takes to convert it to 4wd...
Ofcause it would loose some power in the drivetrain - but out of the hole - it would be mental! I recon that 0-100 is less than 4sec..
But so far, no one have done it..
And Video's are on their way! dont worry..

how come you didnt just buy an s3 in the first place mate, if youve got the money to do that to a cupra surely you can afford an s3.

but there would be no challenge in buying an S3 ;)

And making a big turbo kit fit? Hmm..

there isnt many s3's either maybe jonnyc's and another on audi sport with 500+.

There are/will be 3 BT S3's in the UK.. Veil tuning that is around 400hp GT28 / Andys ATP 3071R kit running 430hp and mine will be back on the road shortly and were aiming for 600..

Using this little thing.. ;)
