Newbie question

Hello all,

I got a LCR last week, suffice to say I'm well pleased with it.

I was wondering if someone could tell me if there is meant to be some sort of rubber mat in the storage compartment situated in front of the gear stick and just below the climate control unit?

All I seem to have there is evidence of dried up glue.

Mine didnt have one (well, the chap to sold it to me didnt have it there) and there isnt any adhesive there. I reckon the previous owner stuck one down, and removed it before they sold it to you. I was thinking about putting something there myself, so that phone, ipod etc dont slide about too much. Just trying think of what to put there. I reckon some dense black foam from an art shop might be decent. Or something from a homeware store - like a non slip mat, then cut it to size.

I used a thin plain black mousemat and cut to size for all the cubbyholes

go to pound shop and get some of that rubber matting (the anti slip stuff) cut to fit......perfect!
