I'm looking into buying some lowering springs this month.

I basically would like some opinions on which to go for, I won't be changing the shocks, just springs, have spoken to DPM and they suggest lowering 20mm on H&R's but these are £180... now if this is whats best don't mind spending that much but would like to see some pictures of people who have gone for these to see if the arch gap is reduced enough for me or if people also suggest maybe going more and some recomended springs instead. Of course I would like to spend less preferably... around £140ish if possible so don't know if there are places cheaper than dpm that sell these or any other make of spring.

Sorry if this topic comes up all the time but couldnt find anything myself when searching.

I'm pretty sure that you can get Weitecs from DPM, they do two types which will lower the car 30mm or 50mm.

Alternatively you can go with Eibach which are cheaper than H&R. I've recently lowered my LCR with cheap Jamex springs (£75 delivered). The ride is just the same as stock and the looks have been improved no end. I've also added 5mm spacers to the rear which has improved handling and rear end stability no end! Here's a quick pic:

that looks a good height, what drop is that supposed to be... if going for 30mm it would only lower 10mm as the lcr is 20mm lowered than a standard leon apparently. so would need to buy the 50mm ones. i imagine.

That looks awesome billyhas! It sounds like you rate the setup but care to do a more in depth review? This would really help me out as I have a war in my head right now between coilovers & this package that you have. What's body roll like? Is the passenger side any higher than the drivers side?
