Only me again!!!

Just spoke to my local Seat dealer and they quoted me £275.97(parts & labour inc) for a Cambelt kit which includes the rollers.

To me that sounds a good price. People who have had theirs what do you think?

Also whilst they have my engine it bits anyone know the price of a water pump as i will get that done at the same time.

Blimey that seems a very good price!!!

Not sure on price of water pump but make sure you go for a metal impellor one and don't let them lump the labour on as everything is pretty much stripped down when they replace the cambelt.

They may not use an owner sourced unit as it then looses them money. They will probably only fit their own sourced items.

I wouldn't think they would mind, you can supply all the parts if you wanted and get them to carry out the work.
Using their parts you may have a better come back if one of them was to fail as they cover their work and the parts but if you have supplied the parts they may be funny about it if something did fail.

Had my cambelt and water pump done this week at SEAT and was quoted around that price, i'd check that its not already included...
