What turbo and mods?

How do i find what turbo i have? I have a y plate (2001) cupra. I assume its a k03 without vvt but how do i find out for sure?
also i Have a stage 1 map, forge 007p recirc valve, and uprated panel filter. running 211bhp and 248 ft/lb, what could i do to increase it if poss. with the exception of stage 2 and catback as thats coming later in the year.

sounds as if its a k03s as a k03 wont go over 200bhp

As above I'd say you had a AUQ engie with the KO3s turbo.....unless its a very optimistic RR

A k03 will go over 200bhp, but not with just a stage 1 map.

Its in front of engine drivers side...you might have to remove the big cover to see it but I'm not sure

I'd say next mods would be silicone hoses, front mount intercooler, full exhaust system then get it mapped again.

If your going for stage 2 you don't want a cat back as you mention in your first post you will need a full system.

I had a look its an AUQ so thats the K03s yes?

Does the silicone hose replacement make that much diffrence? yes full turboback with sports cat i'm going for, milltech probably.

I personally have not done it so can't really comment.

I've heard that the K04 still has a smooth delivery like the K03 but the spool has a bit more of a punch to it.

Of course if you put any more mods on you'll haev to remap it again to make full use of them. I wonder if you can fit one of the new tsi superchargers to it?

Have any posts been made on that prospect yet?
