Supposedly the large can is a pain to fit unfortunately. Might just be a case of emptying the small can more often.

I'm just wondering which is the best option also. I assume the larger can just means you wont need to empty it as often?

Aye, but the larger catch can may not fit in the same place. the std can I think is the better option as it fits nicely near the washer bottle resovoir.

They do say that because the main constituents of the vapour is water, it's advised that in colder climates (ie our winter) you check the catch can more often to clear out any ice that might build up and block the system. Might be a good idea to get into a routine of checking it often anyway.

Aye that was it, and to check to make sure it would be ok to put a link like this up.

Is anyone going for the large can?[/QUOTE]

Just what i was wondering?

BTW Warren what CAI you going for?

you beat me to it , so which one you going for warren?

are any of you going to 'Seafoam' before you put the catch tank on?

i have watched the videos of sea foaming and tbh its scary ,i will post the link to it on you tube , put a third in the fuel tank , a third in the oil and a third through the vacum system ,

for me putting any in the vacum system is bad enough but petrol and the oil
think i will give that a miss !
when i fit my cai i will inspect my intake valves and take a view then as to what i do as regards to seafoaming.

I bought one of these at a decent price from Ebay. To fit to my Ed 30.

All fitted this weekend, and in the short time I have had it fitted, i think the car feels a bit more perky, and MPG has increased slightly.

Might be just a Placebo effect, but could be down to an uncontaminated charge entering the cylinder...............

Well worth the £100.
