no, you just need to unclip it and it'll come out. you unclip it at the bottom first i think then push it in, then unclip the top and pull it out. not to hard
a little update. just installed my painted boot handle. looks awesome!
Still in two minds on if i should do the center grill with or with out the red trim.

After seeing your pics, I think i'll have a bash at doing something similar with my existing grilles. Not sure what colour on yellow though, maybe the red. Cheers anyway

ok so a little update. had a issue with some hoses this week. had to replace them, but the were under the manifold so was a bit fiddly as i didn't know what i was doing. but i had no screws left over and the cars running fine now.
these are the ones i had to change. (the ones circles)
i had a look at all the other hoses and i've ordered a set of coolant hoses in black and the samco 5 piece turbo hose kit in urban camo. should look awesome!!

I like it mate! Looks good. I have done mine all matte black but was thinking of doing the surround the colour of the car (as you have done). Looks like you did the S in black tape or something! Was it hard? How did you do it? I like the red in the front grill too.
cheers dude! i'm really happy with how it turned out. i didn't actually paint it. i got my local body shop to do it whilst they did my front bumper. i completely took it apart so they could spray it all. when you lift the s up that whole plate under the s is blue. and i put a bit of carbon fiber under the s, thats what you see between the lines! looks awesome in the sun!
