1.9 TDi - 50k Service price..

I know servicing is quite well covered in general but I havent seen anything regarding 50K prices. Ive been shopping around and have got it down to £186.81 with a skoda dealer in Watford. I cant decide if I should shop around some more. Main dealer best quote is £219. Anyone got any thoughts prices to share?

Prices are really dependant upon your locality, and the labour rates the garages charge to be honest mate.

I normally try to get 3/4 prices, and then make a choice based on price and any recommendations from friends etc

Hi,

The 50k service is only a 'lube' change which should only be approx 100-150quid, especially at an independant, as your near to Watford I can recommend from experience - vwgroups(.co.uk)

Yep,
He's done my timing belt/water pump, 70k and 60k service, honest and knows his stuff well, also will run a diag check for free during service as had the engine management fault light on.
Will be going to him for my 80k service in a couple of months.
