Depends on how SEAT will price it!
That will be the answer to that question!
Well no because the 'standard' car doesn't suffer from fuel cuts.
I personally would like to see a DSG variant, but at this moment in time I see nothing that really excites me enough to be interested in an upgrade.
So SEAT have added a new high pressure fuel pump for the extra 25 bhp it makes?
does this mean at last they recognise the fact that the standard car suffers from fuel cuts?
im guessing theyre using the new chain driven type as oppose to the cam operated one.
doubt it as the picture of the engine shows the original TFSI rather than the new 'TSI' engine.
it has some in consistencies , 345mm is not 17 inches , more 13.5 inches same inconsistency on the rear.
what does it bring over the standard cupra? electronic slip diff and 25 bhp? and 19" alloy wheels , woopdy doo , NOT.
REALLY DISSAPOINTED , only thimg that will save it for me is a wide body kit like the touring cars , and if it comes with that bloody aero kit i will never buy another seat again ever !
It looks like any other Mk2 Leon with big wheels. Not even Brembo brakes by the look.
As for it been aimed as a rival to the RS...I'd want it to look like that, aggressive.
I don't get the point in a hot hatch that looks like a normal car.
I cant believe they havent done anything to the outside...bring back the origional mk1 designers! SEAT just arnt listening tbh.
I agree with the previous posts, it doesn't look agressive enough and there isn't really enough extra oomph to make others sit up and take notice. Also I thought they had done away with the "R" badging?
I thought the reason they brought in the FR was to replace the Cupra and the Cupra then became the Cupra R because as I understood it "Cupra" means Cup Racing and the "R" meant Racing, which meant the Cupra R would stand for Cup Racing Racing lol
Or am I talking balls?
im guessing theyre using the new chain driven type as oppose to the cam operated one.
The RS doesn't look agressive, just like it's had a head on collision with Ripspeed.
