On all of the other cars I have had that have had CC they do the thing where 1 click up= 1MPH faster and 1 click down= 1MPH slower. the leon doesn't seem to do this and it is bugging me. Is it a VAG-COM thing or is that just the way it is.

If I dab the buttons just once up or down the speed does not change, if I hold the faster button it goes faster till I release it and if I hold the slower button in it coasts for as long as I hold it.

When you guys get the 1MPH thing going on, how long do you dab the buttons for, just a quick flick or dab it for a second?

For example, on my old mk4 Ibiza if I did 10 quick dabs on the faster button the speed would go up by 10MPH, on the mk2 leon I do the same (10 quick dabs) and the speed goes up by about 1-2 MPH

Mine's the same as yours. If I hold the increase button then the speed increases, but not by a set amount. I just hold it up or down until I get to the speed I want, then release. I prefer it this way anyway, it's more predictable.

I have a feeling mine is like that too actually.

If I want to speed up or slow down I normally hold it down until im at the desired speed.

I think it's just different people's version of a 'press', 'a quick' press or a 'hold'

It will also depend of the engine, how much torque is available to accelerate at higher speeds.

I have to hold (1-2 seconds) until I reach the desired speed (1.9 TDI 250Nm) But an FR (2.0 350Nm) may acchieve the 1mph increase quicker.

Only a thought????

I don't think it increases in 1 MPH increments. It just accelerates as long as you hold the button.

Far be it for me to round this off but RTFM:

Press the upper part RES/+ of the rocker switch to increase the speed. The vehicle will continue to accelerate for as long as you keep the rocker switch pressed. When you release the switch, the speed is stored.

I just gave it a quick instant press which increased by around 1 or 2 miles an hour. I didn't even know it did this untill now.It also decreases the mileage by the same.Been and tried it out.Mine was just a quick press.Honest.

just a quick question on the topic, when you switch CC on and use it, should there be any indicator of that on the cluster? any light or anything?

don't think you do unless its for the bigger computer screen when you choose the bluetooth option...

yeah there is. i think its a green dial, could be wrong tho.

so mixed answers, it had smaller display, no bluetooth and I was expecting green icon like on VW's but nothing appeared. Car was keeping the speed though and I could accelerate and decelerate using buttons

anyone without bluetooth can confirm?
