Just replaced the front speakers and added some rear tweaters. The tape was fine giving some decent bass (10mins later), but then the bass slowy started dying down and little disorted (when crank the volume), plus when pump the volume the headunit screen flickers
Tried search but nothing
Worst day to top it off some c*ck scraped my rear bumper [:@]

to much power from the speakers fore the head unit i think you need a amplifier

It was working for 10mins, then started degrading, speaers are 240watts-80watts rms, they do states you need minimum of 40w rms to power them:rolleyes:, they are edge speakers by the way.

It's probably possible but wouldn't be worth spending the money to do it.

Just stick a cheap 100W amp under your dash or seat or any where else you can hide it :)

Found my old 200watts tornado amp lol:p
it a 4 channel amp, the front only has level gain on it, but the rear has level, trebble and bass, would it be better to connect the front speakers to rear out put of the amp? as i can control the bass treble?

Just fitted the amp, had it setup and it was decent, today it all out of line, even if the amp gain all the way down, the sound and bass is disorted.
can the headunit be mucked up? loud feature dosnt realy make much different.
So bloody annoyed!!!!!!!
