Hi guys, i am looking to get my power up a bit, i am looking to get about 220bhp out of my car.

i have a few bits and bobs i am looking at getting...

- Tubular manifold
- De Cat
- Catback system

i already have an induction kit fitted and i would also like to fit a manual boost controller but have been told that if i change the boost it will cause the car to go in ti limp mode.

can anybody shed some light on the matter and help me with what i should be getting for the car.

with my scoobys it was easy, 35bhp from upping the boost and another 15bhp from changing the manifold, but i am having trouble getting my head around these engines.

Thanks David

Is that one of those shitty £100 manifolds off ebay?

You can get 210 from a stage 1 map around 225-235 on a stage 2.

If you get the de cat and exhaust you'll only need a TIP and optional FMIC and you can get a stage 2 [maybe a 4 bar FPR depending on map]

Its on the fron of engine on drivers side [not sure if you have to remove engine cover to see it], think its part of the chassis number to?

Yeah you can. Basically you need a turbo back exhaust, uprated DV & turbo inlet pipe, air filter and a stage 2 remap. That'll see you 230 - 240bhp but I would recommend a FMIC too if you want to see the top end of that figure. Heat soak is a pain and can really affect things.
