Few Questions 2001 1.4 ibiza.

Posting on behalf of a friend whilst his t'interweb is down.

Hes wondering if theres anyway to remove the stereo and fit aftermarket..i dont think there is ? Because its the full air con system too, one massive block.

Also, does the fabia wiper mod from the leon work with his ibiza ?

What size rims can you get in without it looking too max power.

His air con sticks on sometimes and wont turn off ?

There is a way to fit an aftermarket stereo, there's a few threads on here about it, think "dubroots125" or "sortu" may have done it on his.
Not sure about the Fabia wiper, but iv got the mk5 golf wiper on mine, and as for the rims, i'v got 16's just now, but personally i think anything larger than 17's dont suit the ibiza's too well.

Cheers for the fast reply buddy, il take the arm off and have a look at the fitment, although at first glance looks very similar to the mk1 leon, and if your running the golf one im almost sure it will fit.

No worries. The headunits one of the main things alot of people want to change, so there's def a way.

Heres a guide i made on fitting a aftermarket cd player mine shows you how to fit it under the steering wheel (best place imo) but if you don't want it there you can just use the guide for wiring and put the cd player where you like.

Ok guys, had a closer look today, the clutch is on its arse, needs a new one, been quoted around £200 fitted, that a good price ?

Also..the air con lark is fecked, does anybody know of a place that fixes them ?
