then not long after a had a wee bit of money left so a decided to get some coilovers and a forge split-r dump valve and some spacers and powdercoat my wheels and the all important lcr splitter. . .get all the small stuff out the way

then me and a couple of mechanic friends decided to put the coilovers on and dropped it but it was useless everywhere in ayrshire lol

so i went and got it raised and then bought front lower and rear upper strut braces

Looks very tidy and making good progress with it! Think that cupra in the last pic is MrD's old car now owned by Ryan i think?? I know how you feel about the splitter and being low, I only put mine on for shows etc as i break them every time it's on and i refuse to raise the coilies! lol

Hold onto the wheel and push with your feet. Takes a hell of an amount of force but they come!

All be it ALOT easier with a ramp!

Nice looking car. Quite tempted for some wind deflectors now...

lol thats jus twhat i was doing......sliped of grazed the sh*t out off my elbow and must have took every layer of skin off there is on my thumb,blood every where ,there wer a few f:censored: c:censored: that dat i tell ya i had to walk away because i was close to propper loseing it [:@]

gunna get the big snap-on air gun on it next time i have a go

did you buy this from someone through Edinburgh way?

Tagsy87 a bought it from a garage in paisley the price was to good to say no :) and the person before me spent £900 from seat fitting a whole new cluch dunno if thats a good/bad thing but its got like a 9month old clutch great success :funk:

Riko am thinking of taking it off and jst dropping the car a liked the way they sit on there hoop :) and try and avoid speed bumps lol

well hopefully its going for a respray in maybe 6months time jst scratches and laquer peel and a few dings the usual stuff

hey mate i think i have seen you in tarbolton a couple of times my parents have a caravan there :shrug: maybe see you kickin about you will most likely see my motor outside the crown car looks mint with the wheels that colour was thinkin about it myself

yea a thinka have seen a silver one about a stay jst outside on a wee farm like 2mins away

well few updates cars been doing my head in only running on 2 cylinders so its in gettting fixed :D

bought a nomad pillar pod and a couple of gauges

also got it rr'd at 154.9bhp and 153.8 lb/ft car is completly standard so great figures the rr a used is one of the best ave seen guy builds them himself ever car at the rr'd day was almost bang on bhp they are ment to get cant recommend him enough

also bought vag-com should arrive in a few days

done my de-wipering

and emm thats it hope to get alot of stuff done after christmas coz all my fund are going into presents :(

UPDATE! BEEN A WHILE!

right so after a wee while a decided to change my turbo to a ko3s so few days off alot of scrapes on my hands an a broken t.i.p it was done and the best thing is the garage am using are getting jabbasport maps in and am ready for stage 2
