3rd Track Day booked for the 20th August at Donnington, Evening Session. So hopefully the new pug will pull through.
Few teething problems with it, Starter Motor has packed up, new Cambelt fitted, few wiring problems, little bit of an oil leak and the rolling road only showed 140ish Bhp. But it drives ok, ( when it goes ) and should be a useful track day toy. But phaps not the best to buy on ebay without viewing it first.
Just hope Nibbles gets out of the Big brother house in time to enjoy it.
I definitly have the PUG bug and am looking at buying a more road going version, hopefully picking it up this Saturday !

There was a caged and stripped 205 MI16 on throttle bodies on Knockhill track day on Saturday with me.
This was very well matched to my LCR, one the corners it was very tidy.
Should be alot of fun, looking forward to seeing the video's

My brother had ones of them for his first car.. Cracking wee thing it was! Hope you have a lot of fun with it

How many cars do you want/need!!
Another one..! If you are keeping it get some Group "N" mounts for it. Worth they're money in gold!
I think its more to do with rushing in and buying something that perhaps wasnt the most ideal.
We didnt loose any money on the original red pug and hopefully we wont loose much on the silver one, if we do decide to sell it. I ideally wanted a road going version of it, and hopefully thats what Im getting. The silver one is just too extreme to use as a weekend fun toy, i miss things like carpet, sound proofing etc.
Im afer the closest thing to a Minter possible, and although its a difficult task , i think ive found one. Its not cheap thats for sure, but again has , Mi16 engine conversion running twin 45 Webbers and Jenvey inlet manifold.
4-2-1 manifold with Omex stainless steel exhaust system.
Omex rev limiter.
Group A engine mounts etc.
Sparco Strut Brace.
206 GTI 180 front brake conversion.
Braided hoses throughout.
Adjustable rear brake bias conversion.
Lowered Bilstein front and adjustable Spax suspension at rear.
Uprated rear torsion bar conversion.
Wider rear track and Group A bump stops.
OMP full roll cage.
Fingers crossed.

Sounds like a good spec. Make sure the Bilsteins aren't the crappy black OEM shocks If they are the yellow challenge spec supurb!

LOL we re enacted a scene from the Italian Job Yesterday, some quiet lanes near me....
At least i can polish something again...... Let the bling begin. I really would like to bring it back to life, couple of small dents in the bonnet, small amount of bubbling in the fron wings.
So, new panels, and ultimately a full respray....
