so i found this under my seat..

i was rummaging around under my seat for something and i felt something that was loose.
i tried to reattach it, but it fell off in my hand..

so yeah, it's the height adjustment spring from under my seat. is there any way i can realistically put this back without removing the seat? does it even matter? the seat still moves fine, so i dunno.. the fact it was only attached at 1 end for who knows how long kinda makes me think it'll be fine

and that's an A4 sheet, for reference, so it's pretty big..

i have recaros in a cupra 4 though, so it's not the same seats as on the toledo unfortunately

i've found the item on vagcat, i'm just wondering if it's possible to reconnect it without having to take the seat out, and whether it's even worth doing..

Taking the seat out isn't a big deal TBH

hey, yeah i got the racaros too but they seemed a little bit similiar

but mine is off too for about a month or 4 but i dont have any problems yet..

i believe its there to unload the mechanism a little with the help of a spring...
