Fabia rear wiper on Leon

Hi guys,

I know loads of you have the fabia rear wiper on your leon so just want a bit of information on it!

Do you need to replace the whole mechanism or do you just change the wiper blade? Any info would be great!

Also where would you get the mechanism/blade from?

you change, all the bits you can see when its on...

So the arm, the cap, and the blade.

The motor stays put.

Did you order direct from Skoda or where did you get it from?

I got mine off eBay for £12.00 delivered.

I just had a look on there for you, and their's none on there atm. Their's usually some on there, just search Fabia rear wiper.

Make sure you get the ESTATE version, and the HATCH cap...

I got the Hatch arm and hatch cap, and the arm is about an inch too short.... its no major issue, just doesn't clean as much of the screen as the OEM one did.

recently bought mine off ebay for £20. Takes about 5 mins to fit, looks much better too , seems to be a text book leon mod on here

Use a socket wrench, not an adjustable spanner... it won't grip it enough, and you'll ruin the nut/bolt..

WD-40 might help too...

If i remember, you need a 13mm socket....

no skoda parts dealer local to me so this worked out cheaper, would have cost more than the difference in petrol to go and pick it up

Yeah same here - might as well just buy off ebay - cheap as chips really! £23 with delivery!
