Is there anyway to tint the glass permanently without using film. Just had mine done "professionally" and its great except tiny bubbles around the pattern at the edge of the window, you know the tiny squares of clear glass/window border gradually turning more solid? Making sense? The guy said there was no way to avoid this. Cheers

sounds a bit strange to me i have a vw transporter sportline for work and the sliding door window has a a pattern around the edge same as you and i have no bubbles think your window tinter needs sacking:cartman: would of been removed if he used the right tools
 
Hmm yeah was coming to the same conclusion. Surely you cant start a window tint job with the disclaimer that it might be a bit ****. Was some fat bloke armed with a heat gun and a burger. Came recommended though.
 
proper place should heat sink the film which means that you get a better finish...some bodge tinters just stick the film on
