I've searched the forum and got even more confused, I want to put new bumpers on my 1.9 tdi 110. The bumpers i want are the ones with the square middle bottom grill, (cause I'm newbie i cant put picks on) what leon is it from cause i've seen it on servral leons, and will i need fitting kit or is it straight fit. Thanks for any light you can shed on the subject.

Great stuff pretty much straight fit. The people here are so nice (unlike another forum all I got was "Dont bother not worth it" or "just buy the my03") Is this bumper in high demand or do people remove this one to up grade.

Not as high demand as a Cupra R bumper as some folk upgrade to that from the facelift cupra, however they are still popular particularly the front ones for some reason. I wouldnt touch the fibreglass ones off ebay imho.

Yeah I managed to get both my bumpers second hand, still expensive but much cheaper than brand new.

If you get fibreglass your just asking for trouble!

OEM all the way, you get what you pay for. If you only want to spend 100 quid you'll get 100 quid worth. IMO save up and get oem. Before I get abuse I'm not saying after market are cr*p I'm just saying its not for me.

I paid £130 for front bumper with top grille [few scratches and 1 small dent]

£110 for the rear

Both obviously second hand

The side skirts I got brand new with all 4 jacking point covers and the full fitting kit......Got an absolute bargain with these ;):D:D

The bumper grilles, tow eye covers, splash shield extensions, door moldings, guides etc etc were £300 from the stealers.

I'd budget on about £1000-1200 using second hand parts and having them painted at a decent bodyshop and fitting them yourself.
