urgent help please

Hi all
need help just left work and my car has gone wrong !

the engine diagnosis light has come on, the car idle revs have dropped to around 650rpm and the car is running really rough.
Any ideas on whats gone wrong ?

Any help would be really useful thanks

The engine light as come on for a reason, get it scanned and there will be no guessing.

Was hoping It might be something I could fix ! loose lead etc etc
going to get it into a garage 1st thing, just trying to find out what I might be into, cost wise and how long they might have it .

just done a search you might be right on the coil pack !
I did have an "eggy smell" as well

Forgive me for being a complete idiot but is a new coil an easy cure?

IF it is a coil pack, you can easily do that, but how do you know it is?

As Lee said you need it code read or your just pissing in the wind!

Yes it is easy you have a 1 in 4 chance of picking right one.
