getting a bit bored of my leon 1.8t fr its currently running 202bhp after a stage 1 remap. just wondering after going for the blue flame turbo back exhaust new forge tip and a stage 2 remap from p-torque what sort of bhp do you reckon it would be producing im asking this because im just wondering if im better off selling the fr and buying a cupra r do you think after putting these mods on the fr i would be getting around 250bhp

Its 1.8T same as yours.

I have TIP, oo7, Turbo back exhaust, green filter and awaiting FMIC and a stage 2 P tourque.

Thats how I know 230 is about maxium......maybe bit more depending on what rollers you use ;)

are fitting the tips a diy job or are the pros needed also is your green filter pannel or cone type

also forgot to ask what type of exhaust you got on it i been thinkin of getting one of those turbo back blueflame systems with 200cell cat do you know much about these

have you taken off your airbox and removed all the plastic bits then putin the 3inch ducting if so did you leave the ducting just behind the headlight or was you able to thread it behind and into the grill for more cold air just asking coz thats my project for tommorow lol any tips for this one then cheers

I took box off then smoothed inside, mines a 76mm air feed that goes to front wing and joins the standard one.

When I fit my FMIC I'll extend it down behind bumper.

do you get good gains from smoothing the air box and would you advise driiling the airbox would this take in heat from the engine through the holes thats been drilled were did you get your ducting from aswell i been to halfords today to get some and they didnt have what i wanted any ideas were to get it from plumbers merchants maybe?

I think if you drill holes in the box it will defeat the object of the box and sound like a chavvy corsa ;)

I got my air feed off ebay but they sell the same one in Wilko.

As above but if you're going stage 2 then I recomend fitting a 4bfr aswell. You could always go down the hybrid route.

Still best to uprate it as your putting higher feul pressure through standard

I bought an open air filter on my old v6 and on my Lcr and they sucked in more than double the air of a drill airbox. Open/cone filters work best if they are well away from heat, preferably behind the fog lights, or out of the car like a Caterham
