i am looking at making my own rear strut brace, using the idea of u bolts around the strut. and flanges on the brace itself, so that it can be taken out and put in easier.

I was thinking that when I added mine last night....

wondered if the one like ians (between the struts) would be better....

either way, it's a metal bar mounted solidly to two secure points. anything is better than nothing

I'm still waiting for my rear brace from strutbracer. Ordered on 24th July. They said they had to order it in from OMP. And also said that OMP are shut for 6 weeks. But some how my brace was due in on Wednesday last week. Pee'd off!

will keep you updated on the delivery time of the rear...

also whats the best way to get them fitted???as in up on ramps/axle stands etc

and do you need your trackingdone after its fitted?

tried to loosing the bolts today too and they are mega tight lol think i will popit to a garage to do lol

Front lower is a pig. You will need to get it as high as you can and get the biggest breaker bar on the bolts as you can get in. Then lever yourself against something while pushing like mad with your feet..!

Or you could get a mate to put it on a ramp and get it off in seconds...

You don't need to do your tracking again as it is just a case of removing the bolt for the wishbone and putting it back in ;)
