Going to do Snowdon one day, Cadir Idris the next and maybe one other climb (depending on the weather!) the next day!

Snowdon can be a great walk when you plan your own route and avoid the main tourist paths up! Cadir Idris is usually a fairly quiet mountain which is good!

So are you actually hiking up the mountains then? Or are you a climber (e.g. all that boulding thing I think it's called)?

Oh and I spotted the mod! Wing mirrors! Very subtle! lol.

wing mirrors :)

Have you only done the drivers side mirror????? Passenger one still looks grey in that photo!!!

Good spot chaps! Yes, I did paint them both Gordz... :cartman: The standard FR mirrors are silver and don't match the platinum grey of my FR... just a little thing but there you go! So if I am going to have a grey and black theme I thought I would paint the mirrors matte black.

are you not going to do it yourself? with the time you have off should keep you busy. especially if your going for matte as thats probally the easyiest to apply i beleive. think theres a thew threads on here to help you out.

I would need a set of wheels to replace my ones, take the tyres off, smooth kerbage and then spray and tyres back on! I might but I am going away for a few weeks so it won't get done until end of August. It would probably take most of a week to do I would have thought! My neighbour, Chrome_Pete did his and they look pretty good even though he says he didn't do the best job on them! I might ask him for help... ;)

any good bodyshop should be able to do it for you providing there is no huge bits missing. at work we do wheel referbs when it come to just painting and a company called lepsons who come and collect you wheels and tyres on a monday and return them pretty and new by thursday!

knew you would back me up  black wheels for added bhp.

We have to stick together :D

Where did you get your wheels done mate? Somewhere local?

I think he has the factory black FR wheels.....

 Just read through Breezapom's thread and he got them sprayed at NationWide Crash Centre in Pompey! Might have a go at doing them myself but its just a bit of a hassle thinking about it and getting organised!

If I used a drill to sand them down, what sort of attachment should I use?
