Today I had my coilovers fitted and Im just after some advice really.

When I got them I thought the rears were rather short, but they cant be because everything is on and all bolted up etc.

Im going to have to raised the rears up as the way they are set they are to low. But Im worried about the helper spring as just now it is quite compressed. If I wind them up its going to be compressed more.

Is there an easier way to wind them up aswell?

Thanks,

Craig.

That spring on mine is rather compressed aswell, i just thought it was normal. Been over 8 months with them like that and havn't had any issues.

Sorry to go off topic, but easiest place to find people with coilovers, do they boost up your insurance considerably?

Thanks.

Couldnt tell you tbh. Im with Adrian Flux and have my lowering kit insured that Ive just removed from the car. Ive still to phone them and tell them Ive changed to coilovers.

All my mods are declared but I couldnt tell you if it made a difference because I had another years no-claims etc when I started my policy with them, my 2nd Policy with them.
