ive never done one of these before but my car is starting to look quite nice in my eyes so i thought i would share it on here and see what you all think so here goes:-


heres how it was when i brought it, got it for £3400 but she had a few little niggles ie damage off side wing mirror and side skirt jack cover missing. she also had various little dents all over you cant really see them but there was two on the front wing and two on the drivers door handle

im in the trade so my mate from dent devils took all the dents out and i also got the rear bumper sprayed as it had a scuff, when it was in the bodyhshop got the wing mirror cover and side cover sprayed and fitted.

next thing was the exhaust my boss knows some people at miltek so he got me a cat back non res system all sorted out sound sweet well recomended


i saw a few cars with the lcr front splitter on so i got straight on to tps (good guys down there) to get me one up and also a full service kit so i knew she was all up to scratch. a few hours later she was all splittered up and fully serviced

next i debadged, i was going to do then all but i liked it with the cupra and 20vt bages still on ......... then i couldnt resist getting a mk2 badge in the middle. i also picked up a forge 007 dv and did the 249 bypass as people say it does give you a nice smoother boost and a nice little dump hiss a bit like the rally car noise.
i umed and arred about what filter to get and decided on this cold air feed kit good for the money and sounds really good with the 007dv

i went up to the jkm rolling road day good day out but i was a little dissapointed with the result 167.5bhp since then ive replaced the m.a.f. sensor and now she goes like a rocket so i think i got the 15bhp back that was missing

next was the suspention again spent a long time pondering about these and decided on a set of kw 40mm springs they sit nice and it handles much better

heres a pic or two of how she is at the mo i think shes looking good next up wheels!!!

if you want i can get some up here, the miltek is a nice system . i like the fact that it grows about an inch after youve been ragging it ,

as for the remap- im just waiting for my boss to get his new car so he can get the remap guy down so i get it cheap!!!!

I can't believe you picked this up for that amount of money, what a bargain. Dread to think what mine is worth but its not going anywhere so who cares

yeah well most of the 04 plate ones go for 5k plus so she was cheap

Thanks, ah no worries the rs4s suit the car. I've had mine years now but don't own the copyright

Mine is on 18s with quite wide tyres, and its lowered 60mm with an lcr splitter. Hope that helps

yeah she does look nice, my boss has just anonced that the remap guy is coming to my work a week monday and i couldnt resist so she getting done

ill let you know what its like, i cant remeber what software he uses but it should take it to 212bhp whoop whoop

i think the little gremin inside my car heard that i was going to remap map it next week

the water pump broke............ pritty commen reading through the posts.

lucky enough i got hold of all the bits to repair it today but it was a bit of hasle but at leased i know the cambelts sorted for the remap and i replaced the pump with a cast vein one.
