I'm guessing this is the reason my car has been going into limp mode!!

Cheers Guys :)

I didn't get the EML light on but everything was fine until yesterday when the car kept going into Limp Mode :( Might be unrelated, change and see I guess!

Just for info checked my error codes and got:

17544 p1136 intermittent - Long Term Fuel Trim Add.Fuel,Bank1 System too Lean
17705 p1297 intermittent - Connection turbocharger - throttle valve pressure hose

Going to be replacing the breather hose, n249 bypass and getting the stock dv off there for a Forge 007.
Will check other hoses and clean MAF while I'm at it!!! Seems like they are mainly vacuum related.

I have the 17544 error also although cannot see any breakage in the top hose so must be the one under manifold/dipstick area, as I can hear hissing from there.

INA do these hoses too I think. Trying to determine which is better quality between SFS (branded as Awesome) and INA.

Hi
The Awesome ones are also lined too , so the oil will not cause the issue to happen again

Ever wish you left stuff alone :censored::rolleyes:

Started car and had a listen - massive whoosh noise from under inlet constantly. You guessed it that one had gone too - in a big way!

And then taking that pipe in the pic of the car, I took the top off the other pipe that goes into it off alone with some flesh out of my knuckles so I gotta get that one too now :headhurt::blink:

On the bright side when I've done the bits and bobs I should see a big difference (I hope!)

No because I replaced mine before I realsied you could get silicon ones.

I paid more than that for a genuine crappy seat one

Mine hasnt gone yet but will more than likely get replaced with one of these. I was just wondering of the quality as they also sell TIP's for £80, doesn't seem to be as many options on TIP's for the AUQ engine especially of the 'cheaper' options

for 80quid mark, look at the ths tips for lcr or lc.. good quality gear they manufacture.

dogbone and engine mounts are quality also.

i replaced the above said hose with ebay silicone and it worked very well.

Yes THS ones seem to be well recommended, trouble I have is that I havent found anywhere quoting them fitting the AUQ engine even on THS performance website.
