I bought the ecu already mapped and gt2x turbo off a guy called danny_lad on the forum, had it on 3 weeks and the turbo blew.
I thinked you were parked at the side of the road opposite the flats. I had porche rims on before but sold them and now mine and baz's car looks nearly identical apart from he has a carbon bonnet i think. And funnily enough people call me baz too lol

Well when i bought the car not knowing much about them except it was a 1.8 t and there good cars. Thinking that all cupras was the R 180bhp, then i found out my one was only 156bhp

Yeah sure was, white with silver speedlines and pillar guages, again theres 2 goin about thats similar, ones a 2ltr the others a 2ltr turbo.
Yeah mine started life as just a cupra too. Doesnt take alot of money to put a smile on your face while drivin them, FMIC, 4bar fpr, induction kit, Exhaust and remap aught to do it.
Your right, same engines with different maps, even the 225bhp LCRS roughtly the same engine with diff map and turbo and obviously the engine code lol.
Iv heard and read alot of stories about the R turbo bein different and spooling later. Ie the cupra has 12 blades and spools at 2500 and the R has 8 and spools at closer to 3k but tails out for longer. Not really sure which is true though.
Easily tweaked for good power though. And once your done with your stage 1 revo. You can buy an SPS controller and tweak it to stage 2 and stage 3 yourself (With supportin mods and when you know more about it obviously lol)
