Hi guys! Fitted my HID's the other day and they are great! I made use of st10587's fitting method so the wiring is well hidden. My only query is about what seems to be dust on the inside of my lights? Is this just highlighted more due to the brightness of the HIDs? It doesnt affect the beam at all, just the look of the headlights when they are on.

That's just imperfections on the inside of the glass mate! Its looks bad, but them who looks that closely when the lights are on?

this is probably a really stupid question, but ive got a 1.2 and the lights seem to be different, you guys have like two circles, mine are like two circles combined, make any difference to what bulbs go in it????

Yes... you have one bulb that has two filaments... one for dipped and one for high beams. the two separate lights have oen bulb for each function.

Its a little more work but it can be done, you will need a H4 kitt instead of the H7 like everyone else. However id seriously consider trying to source & fit the twin lamps as not only do they look a lot better but provide so much light as well.

yeah dont disagree with you on that, full time work over summer so ill have too try and put em on the list of stuff for the car lol

You can get H4 kits that give you HID dipped beam and HID high beam. I think it's done with an HID bulb and then the connection for the high beam operates a solinoid that moves for the high beam. My mate has one of these on his motorbike and it works very well.
