Xenon upgrade

How do chaps, I'm kinda new to this melarchy and have searched the forums but couldn't find anything - maybe 'cause i'm a newbie???!

Anyway, onto the subject at hand. I'm looking into getting some xenon lights for my MkIV Ibiza Sportrider but I'm unsure as to whether or not I can just go ahead and buy bulbs for the headlights or whether I need to buy a conversion kit or something along those lines?

Any advice would be much appriciated.

search for HIDs you will find loads on it. basically to retrofit xenons your looking at £1000 plus. to fit a HID kit your looking at about £35ish from ebay

xenon bulbs are 1. a different style of bulb to your halogen and 2. require a ballest pack to work.

if you look at page 11 of my readers ride thread you will see what i mean!
