This is why I went for coilovers.

I went for just springs on my last car and was never happy with the ride or the height.

Not surprised your not impressed... here are some pics of mine with just Eibach lowering springs on (30mm front and 20mm rear I think they are!) Yours doesn't even look like its been lowered at all. Most folks on here would say you should just go for a set of coilovers for the drop you want!

If my old Mazda 323 was anything to wait a few months before passing judgement. At install they were something like -15mm but about 2 months latter they were about the right drop. Oh the other thing which is typical of gmax springs is they also like to sag over time but they are cheap, I guess you get what you pay for.

My dad's 1.4 sportrider is lower than that with stock springs/dampers.

In fact my dad's was lower than my mk4 Fr when I had it too and both cars had the same wheels as stock too.

Seats can be a bit strange when it comes to ride height, look at my sig pic, that's stock but I have seen another one round my way that looks like a 4x4.

I used Apex 35mm springs on my 1.2 and it dropped hell of a lot and the springs did bed in more over a couple of weeks. Im glad I didnt go much lower on mine as the front tyres are just off the archliner now, i cant get my hand in there when it's on the floor! Take the springs back off mate and flog them on and either buy a different brand or coilovers.

Have you got any piccys of a side on view of your car with the Apex springs. I have just fitted them to my ibiza, seen a drop of around 1.5 cm so far, but only been on 3/4 days.
