Hiya mate,
where did you get the wheels done and how much were they? trusted a local bodyshop to do my spare to see if they were any good and safe to say they weren't! Black wheels look soooo good too!

Was £299 mate for same day service, all the kerbing was removed and they remove the tyres and refit and balance them after.
The Wheel Specialist was the company in Fareham so close to southampton http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/File/fareham-details.php
Really nice people very helpfull lots of examples to look at when there, and good results on my wheels and being powercoated should be durable :)

looks good fella

Thanks mate :)

Thanks for that :)

Couple more small updates,
Smoked side repeaters, was actaully very easy to fit and no problems with the bulb holders on mine so a 5min job :)

wi;; we be seeing you this evening at sovag simon?

Sorry i couldn't make it tonight, will be comming along next month with my mate with his vrs and maybe another with a golf hopefully.

that looks quality im well impressed by that.
are you going to get a new rear cupra badge and have it painted black to go with the black theme?
oh and get the rear s badge done black aswell?

Thanks its not quite a dark as that from directly behind, its quite subtle looks standard to the untrained eye i think :) the difference is below :)
Not sure on the black seat badge, think the cupra one in black would look pretty sweet tho didn't think of doing that before...

Bit of a rough mod..... induction kit off my old lupo gti modded to fit the cupra

Got to say tho i love the noise, its got one hell of a winding up sound now not really any growl to it and the dump valve is so much louder... the acceleration does seem smoother but as its quite a cheap filter so that's probably just me thinking it lol, see how i feel in a weeks time on this mod :)

Short Shifter also on the way thanks to Damoegan

Is that a BMC filter, Si? They are meant to be very restrictive at 200+bhp. Best off sticking with a open cone filter mate.

Short shifter should be with you tuesday/wednesday mate :D

Its worse its a cheap copy universal one from ebay, the filter inside whats left of the box is just a normal cone filter, very much like the shape of this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/OMP-Dynamic-A...66:2|39:6|72:1689|240:1318|301:0|293:3|294:25

Are any of the universal filters any good ? what sort of design of filter would work best ?

Excellent thanks for doing it so quick :)

Well I'm using one of these and it does a cracking job, sounds nice too :). There are a few other mk4 lads started using the same one too ;)
